Uusissa säännöissä tuli pieni muutos liinojen pituutta koskeviin sääntöihin. Säännön tulkinnassa on ollut epäselvyyttä, joka on nyt selvitetty IFSS hallituksessa ja asiasta tuli tänään tiedote. Liinojen pituus mitataan jatkossakin venytettynä. Suomennos korjataan samantien.

The Race Judges and Race Regulations Committee (RJRRC) have made aware to the Council that race participants are still uncertain of the interpretation of race rules 49.3, 53.7, 79.2.3, 80.2.3 and 81.2.2.
The IFSS Council has discussed and decided that it is important to highlight that both lengths must be measured from the expanded line.
If there are any uncertainty or if any athletes got any questions regarding the length of the line in use, they need to address this prior to the event and preferably talk to the Race Marshal or chief judge for correct information.
